17 Years

Yesterday marked 17 years of marriage. When I moved to the Region a little over 18 years ago, it was a temporary move to the Hoosier state!

People say love finds you when you least expect it, and that was absolutely the case with @Lisa Borst. She stalked me for a while and keep inviting me to hang out with a group of people from work… but the rest of the group never showed up! Maybe I was naive or just dense, it took me a couple times of that happening for me to realize what was actually going on. LOL.

Once we started dating, it escalated rather quickly. We both were in the same point in our lives and wanted similar things and had similar dreams and aspirations. Looking back the stars aligned better than one could have imagined. Because marriage isn’t always rainbows and unicorns, the person you are traveling the road of life with is as important as life itself.

…and our offspring is pretty great too!
